Our Story

Jerry was a former professional cricketer, playing for Sussex, and has always been involved in the family business. In 1953, Jerry’s father started the company and Jerry took great pride working alongside him for many years, eventually taking over the business when his father retired in the 1990’s.

Jerry Groome Upholstery are experts in the repair and restoration of upholstered furniture. Based in Chichester, we cover a large area and pride ourselves on our personal and friendly service. We offer free estimates in the comfort of your own home, we’ll bring samples for you to select from our large range of fabrics, and we offer a full collection and delivery service.

We undertake all domestic upholstery work, updating and maintaining your furniture as required. With a wealth of experience, much of our work comes from repeat business and word of mouth recommendations.

As an expert consultant, Jerry will personally guide you through the best choices for colors, patterns, styles, and fabrics that suit both you and your home.
